Tai Chi consists of a sequence of relaxed, slow flowing movements, combining grace and strength. The practice of Tai Chi can help to increase flexibility, suppleness and exercise the muscles. The smooth, gentle movements also aid relaxation and help to keep the mind calm and focused, providing a perfect antidote to today’s stressful society.
Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and physical abilities and can be practised on many levels, from a simple meditative exercise to an effective martial art. The emphasis on the course will be on health and relaxation.
Qigong uses breathing techniques and slow graceful movements to develop the body’s natural energy and improve health. Regular practice of qigong will reduce stress and tension, improve flexibility and overall health leading to increased vitality and feeling of wellbeing.
