This class is a dynamic style of yoga, based on traditional Ashtanga yoga, but with a strong focus on correct alignment, to gain the most benefit from the postures.
It will increase your overall level of fitness, burn lots of calories, and increase your strength, flexibility, stamina and concentration. It is an ideal way to get fit and de-stress. It is also fun!
Participants work at their own level, and modifications for the postures are given where necessary (both to make them easier for the less fit, and harder for the more experienced). It is therefore suitable for all levels, including beginners, but regretfully not appropriate for those with limited mobility.
Please wear light, comfortable clothing, and if you have your own mat and yoga block, please bring them. (There will be a limited number of spare mats available.)
