What is PiYo
PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. And, we crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.
PiYo isn`t like standard Pilates and yoga classes that make you hold long, intense poses, or lead you through dozens of repetitive, microscopic core movements. PiYo speeds everything up—including your results—by introducing you to dynamic, flowing sequences that can burn serious calories at the same time as they lengthen and tone your muscles and increase your flexibility. With every action-packed PiYo session, you can burn excess fat and sculpt and define your whole body, as you minimise the aches and pains that can come along with high-impact workouts. The class you will be joining
The class is 1 hour and consists of blocks each with different exercises with rest periods. There are modified versions of every exercise so all fitness levels can complete the class. Everyone has different goals and different reasons for working out, whether it be to lose weight, tone up, build muscle, get stronger or simply you are looking for a new challenge Insanity covers them all.
What will I achieve
What you achieve is entirely up to you PIYO allows and gives you the means to become stronger, leaner and the best version of you that you can be. So come along and you will achieve your goals.
What shall I bring
Come along in sports/workout clothes, trainers, plenty of water, hand towel and gym mat if you’d like to use one.
If you have issues with past injuries or pain during exercise please seek advice from your doctor and inform the instructor so modified exercises can be applied for your safety and injury prevention.
