This 10 week course on Caribbean Cuisine will proceed as follows:
Week 1 • Taster session: (£1.00 - £1.50 per person) • Caribbean curried chicken
Week 2 • Caribbean Curried Chicken, Rice & peas
Week 3 • Sweet potato Pudding/cake
Week 4 • Seasoned Jerk Pork & Fried Dumplings or (Seasoned Jerk Chicken)
Week 5 • Patties Lamb, Beef, Chicken or Veg
Week 6 • Southern Fried Chicken
Week 7 • Carrot Cake
Week 8 • Stuffed Fried Dumplings
Week 9 • Ginger Cake
Week 10 • Sweet spicy chicken wings serve with White Rice
You will need containers to carry your food home, a apron, tea towels, dish cloth.
There will be a small charge for sampling the food which the tutor has cooked and also the tutor will provide the herbs, spices and seasoning for students to purchase if they wish.
